2xYT Broth is a pre-formulated, nutrient-rich bacterial growth medium powder formulated with double the yeast extract and increased tryptone compared to standard LB broth. The higher nutrient concentration supports faster growth rates, higher cell densities, and improved yields in recombinant protein expression systems, making it the preferred medium when LB broth doesn't provide enough nutritional support for your application.

5. Cool to room temperature before use
